GLOBAL WARMING MYTH AND PROPAGANDA

SCIENTISTS DISAGREE

I was surprised to find out that many schools are now forcing children to believe in something called Global Warming. Hundreds of years ago Europeans were convinced that the earth was flat and if you travelled too far it could be dangerous. Yes! Going too far would mean that you would find the end of the world and fall off. Do you think it is possible that millions of people are being deceived about Global Warming? The reason why Global Warming is nonsense is because no-one is actually 100% sure about it. Most of the people who visit this web page are probably going to say that they believe in Global Warming but the fact is that they have never studied historical climate change in depth and are probably too busy to really look into the matter. Most of you simply believe what you are told in schools and on the television. You are satisfied with a popular belief and do not want to be different from others. Till this day, no-one actually knows how the dinosaurs became extinct, no-one one knows how the pyramids were built and we give too much credit to our generation thinking that we are more powerful than every other generation - powerful enough to destroy the world.

PROPAGANDA IS ON THE RISE

POLITICS, FOSSIL FUELS AND NUCLEAR ENERGY

Global Warming Propaganda has got something to do with this capsule title. In fact, more keywords could be included but the above should suffice. Where you live in the world will determine your views on the above topics. Let's say you live in Korea or Japan - well, you are not going to be against nuclear energy because your nation does not have vast oil and gas deposits. How are countries like that going to survive in the world market without continual energy supplies? What I mean is local "sustainable" energy. If your country is going to be dependent on other countries for your energy, then you are going to face a massive problem if those countries suddenly become your enemy. I am only using this as an argument to show people that your views on particular topics of interest are influenced by your geographical location and the associated politics.

How the Media is using fear to educate people

POLITICIANS DO NOT CARE ABOUT FUTURE GENERATIONS

Even if Global Warming were true, we have to ask ourselves if those who preach it really care about future generations. If they did care, then they should prove that they care about this current generation. Why are some people so concerned about the future and so unconcerned about the present?

We are the world. We are the children!

The words of the song - We are the world!

Writer: JACKSON, MICHAEL JOE / RICHIE, LIONEL B., JR. / RICHIE, LIONEL B., JR.

There comes a time when we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And its time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all

We can't go on pretending day by day
That someone, somehow will soon make a change
We are all a part of Gods great big family
And the truth, you know,
Love is all we need

[Chorus]
We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So lets start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
Its true we'll make a better day
Just you and me

Send them your heart so they'll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand

[Chorus]

When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe there's no way we can fall
Let us realize that a change can only come
When we stand together as one

[Chorus: x2]

Voted up. I'm very sympathetic to your skeptical view of the Global Warming Monster. However I'm beyond skeptical; I'm a Global Warming bah humbug.

A large part of the GW propaganda is classical argumentum ad veracundiam, argument from authority. Here's a propaganda antidote from the late Nobel laureate (physics), Richard Feynman:

"Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts."

I am very skeptical about Global warming simply because of what I see has happened throughout history and how whole nations are led to believe certain so called "facts" without any proof of their validity. People can be programmed and brainwashed very easily if the media decide to make something a "fact"

There is absolutely no proof of Global Warming, just like there is no evidence that Santa Claus exists. The level of ignorance on this topic is enormous.

Sorry I did not get to this sooner, but you are correct that there is a lot of misinformation about global warming.

My favorite argument is when people try to compare data from the 1800s to the data we have today. The instrumentation is not the same. What is measured in 100ths today was measured in quarters in the 19th century. The protocols for reading instruments, recording data, rounding off numbers etc., where not as stringent then as they are today.

I do not doubt the climate is changing. We have more people. We have less open land. We have tried to control virtually every navigable waterway in the world. We have dug tremendous canals, we do have more emissions going into the air and we have a whole lot of space junk orbiting the earth that we did not have before and let's not forget the size of Al Gore's house. Climate change is primarily a natural occurrence. Man probably has an impact, but ever since that first man invented fire and cook the game he caught and ever since that first wheel created a rut in the earth's surface, man has been impacting the environment. There are things we can do and have done. But the changes cannot come overnight or even over a decade or two. Changing human behavior takes time. Deciding what behaviors need to be changed will probably take more time.
